Bringing in the Sunshine with Kierra
Kierra Sheard released a new album titled KIERRA. Sheard is a Grammy and Stellar Award-winning Gospel Singer. This is her sixth in-studio album that she has released during what seems a perfect time. Many people need an uplifting spirit, and Kierra states this is what people will gain from her songs. The album has a range of different sounds ranging from Pop, Hip-hop, and R&B, giving the listeners a diverse sound through every song.
This album includes 15 spirit-filled tracks. Looking more into each song, the listener can tell she put her heart and soul into each one. Some of the titles include; “Grateful” and “Better”, some live tracks called “It Keeps Happening” and “I Choose You”, and many features with other well-known artists like Missy Elliott and Sir The Baptist.
This is the first project she released under a partnership with RCA Inspiration and Karew Entertainment, which her parents launched. Wanting to wait until perfect timing, she waited to release her music and held onto it for a year. All of that waiting paid off. She got a tremendous amount of support from the gospel community topping musical charts.
This isn’t her only success of the year. At the beginning of the year, she starred as her mother in the new movie “The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel”. This movie was a hit, being one of the most successful gospel movies to date. “The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel” is a biopic reflecting on the lives of the legendary Clark Sisters. Their success helped pave the way for artists just like Sheard.
Sheard’s professional career was launched in 2004. She has been dedicated to her craft and was able to have inspirational mentors during her growing career. She became the next up-and-coming generation in gospel music after her aunts and mother, who sang in the famous group The Clark Sisters. Her growth as an artist has been seen throughout her career. Not only highlighting her awards she deservingly won, but she has also been able to make a name for herself in this growing industry.

Morgan Phillips has been a follower of Christ her entire life. She was exposed to His word at a young age and has been an active member of her church. Outside of church, she gained a passion for portrait photography. She loves to use her God-given talents to create moments that will last forever. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 2:11. She believes as long as she stays within God's will she will prosper to be the woman he created her to be.
